11/12/18 – 11/18/18
This update is coming a few days late, but it is for a good reason.
This past week is the BUSIEST week of the year at my work. As I’m writing this on Thanksgiving Day, this is only the second day I’ve had off this month. I am worn out after having worked 70 hours this past week but I’m so grateful to have a job that I really enjoy and work for a company that is doing so well!
Working so much this month has made it really easy to not spend a lot of money unnecessarily as well!
The only shopping I did was going to JoAnn Fabrics and buying fabric and thread for two of my hobbies, making headbands and embroidery. I only went because I had coupons and the fabric I wanted was on sale.
I did learn a valuable lesson during that shopping trip. To never go to JoAnn’s on a Saturday night when they’re having good sales!!🤦🏻♀️
We stood in line at the cutting counter for about 45 minutes and then had to stand in line at the registers to checkout. I guess the lesson was also that I probably shouldn’t have been shopping anyway 🤷🏻♀️
I ended up spending $34.11 at JoAnn’s.
I also had $6.16 withdrawn and put into my investment account and $20 deposited into my savings account.
My total spent during week 3 was $60.27. 💁🏻♀️
ast week, I made $805.46.
$307.34 was from my paycheck during week 2 that I did not deposit until last week.
I saved $745.19!!
I will be waiting until after my final minimum loan payment is made for the month and then will be making my first payment using money saved from cutting back my spending!!
